Bayer & LACASA Partner for PAWS Act We are proud to announce our partnership with Bayer Animal Health and its Pet & Women Safety program to help pass the national PAWS Act.
April – All Month ~ Look for our Clothesline Project displays at libraries throughout the county to commemorate National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Clothesline Project T-shirts were created by abuse victims and survivors from LACASA.

Our Youth Prevention Department is working with teens in area high schools to increase awareness about the myths and misinformation surrounding sexual assault
April ~ We invite workplaces to encourage employees to make a small donation in return for wearing jeans to work. Donate the proceeds to help sexual assault victims.

The Kellogg Family Foundation has signed on as LACASA’s first ever Philanthropy Partner, with a $20,000 grant to support critical programs and services at the agency that are not funded by other local, state or federal grants.

Pets often are used to control victims. Abusers may threaten to harm or even kill a family pet to keep an intimate partner from leaving an abusive relationship. LACASA Center offers two cozy indoor kennel facilities that keep pets safe and sound.
