Special Shift Advocate

LACASA is seeking a responsible individual to maintain the crisis and business phone lines during the evening and weekend hours.  Additionally, this Special Shift Advocate interacts with shelter residents and facilitates meeting their needs as they arise. Candidates for this position must show empathy and be skilled in organization, record keeping, crisis intervention, and communication. Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent is needed for this position. Experience with domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse is preferred.
