Welcome!

We’re so glad to host the 27th annual LACASA Garden Tour, where the beauty of Livingston County’s private gardens blossoms alongside a powerful purpose: supporting survivors in our community.

This year is especially meaningful as LACASA celebrates 45 years of service. For decades, the Garden Tour has been a cherished part of our story, bringing people together in support of hope, healing, and new beginnings.

As you wander through these thoughtfully cultivated spaces, we hope you find moments of inspiration, tranquility, and connection. Each garden reflects care, patience, and vision, much like the strength of those we serve and the unwavering support of this community.

Every ticket helps sustain LACASA’s essential, life-saving services for survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual violence, helping individuals and families move forward with hope and dignity.

Together, we are growing something lasting: a community rooted in compassion, resilience, and the belief that everyone deserves a life free from violence.

Thank you for helping survivors bloom!

LACASA Garden Tour: Where Nature Inspires Art

Each year, the LACASA Garden Tour celebrates not only the beauty of nature, but the creativity it inspires, and this year’s featured artists bring that connection to life in a truly special way.

Susan Pominville, a talented  local artist, once again created this year’s Garden Tour icon, drawing inspiration from the natural elegance of the Purple Coneflower. Her design captures both the strength and delicate beauty found in our region’s gardens, setting the tone for this year’s event.

That inspiration is then carried forward by Kathy Markovich, known professionally as Kat McButterfly, who has transformed Susan’s design into hand-painted commemorative slates for each Garden Tour homeowner. Each slate is a one-of-a-kind expression of gratitude, rooted in nature, brought to life through art.

A third-generation artist, Kat is known throughout Livingston County for her vibrant, uplifting work. She views art as a powerful force for healing and connection, a belief shaped by her own life experiences. Through her work, she brings a sense of joy and meaning to everyday spaces.

Together, Susan and Kat remind us that art, like a garden, begins with inspiration and grows into something that can be shared. Their collaboration is a celebration of creativity, community, and the enduring beauty that surrounds us.
