GENERAL DESCRIPTION: As a Part-Time Sales Associate at LACASA Collection you will play a vital role in supporting LACASA’s mission while providing exceptional customer service and driving store sales. This position involves assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, as well as contributing to a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in a retail sales environment is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service and communication skills. Strong math and organizational skills are essential. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Providing excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Assisting customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing information about LACASA and its mission
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, tidying displays, and keeping the store well-maintained
- Assisting in receiving and organizing donation processing
- Participating in store promotional events and sales initiatives to drive revenue and support fundraising efforts
- Collaborating with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
- Following store policies and procedures, including cash handling, as well as safety and security protocols
Supervisor: LACASA Collection Store Manager
Schedule: Regular Part-time Position, approximately 12-20 hours per week
