Hear ye, hear ye, join us in congratulating this year’s LACASA Gala award winners!
LACASA Phoenix Rising Award
This award celebrates the Brighton High School Senior Survivors for their outstanding advocacy, empathy, and leadership in the community on behalf of LACASA’s Mission. Along with The Carl Nagy Foundation and We Walk the Line, LACASA was
selected to be a recipient of this year’s funds. These students participated in challenges and activities throughout the Senior Survivor week to raise an excess of $80,000 in total and helped LACASA complete our Teen Room in the Crisis Shelter, lighting the way to a better future for generations to come.

LACASA Wings of Service Award
This award recognizes longtime LACASA volunteer and advocate, Shannon Keesler. If you’ve been to a LACASA event in recent years, you’ve likely seen
Shannon contributing her time to make it a success. Whether it’s helping find the perfect dress at Cinderella’s Closet, honoring Sexual Assault Awareness Month with the Clothesline project, or spreading holiday cheer, Shannon has been there for LACASA. We’re honored to present her with this award for her selfless contributions, compassion, and effort in making a positive impact.

Spirit of LACASA Award
This award gratefully acknowledges longtime LACASA mission partners Lake Trust Credit Union, who have continuously gone above and beyond to support our mission. In addition to their generous financial contributions, Lake Trust Credit
Union staff volunteer their time at our Home for Good and LACASA Collection. Their team also provides financial education and assistance to our clients, many of whom arrive at LACASA in uncertain financial situations. We’re incredibly grateful to Lake Trust Credit Union for their support in creating a safer and more supportive community for survivors of interpersonal violence.
