45 Years of Hope & Healing
This year, LACASA officially marks 45 years of serving survivors of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual violence.
What began as a shared concern among four women has grown into a lifeline for thousands of children, individuals, and families in our community seeking safety, support, and healing.
From our first rented office space, to the homes we occupied in downtown Howell, to our first dedicated facility, all the way to today’s state-of-the-art Home for Good campus, every step forward has been made possible by YOU: our supporters, friends, neighbors, and allies who chose to care and take action.
Celebrating 45 Years of Impact
As we reflect on the past 45 years, we celebrate lives changed:
Survivors who found refuge.
Children who found healing.
Families who found a path forward because LACASA was there when it mattered most.
But this anniversary is not only a time to look back with gratitude; it’s also a time to look ahead with purpose.
The Need Continues to Grow
Today, more children, families, and individuals
are turning to LACASA for safety, support, and hope.
In 2025 alone, LACASA provided more than 11,500 nights of emergency shelter, an increase of over 7% from the previous year.
Behind every number is someone searching for healing, stability, and a chance to rebuild.
Be Part of the Next 45 years
As we honor this milestone, we invite you to help shape what comes next.
A gift in celebration of LACASA’s 45th anniversary: perhaps $45, $145, $450, or another meaningful amount, helps provide shelter, advocacy, counseling, and comprehensive support for survivors and families.
Together, we can continue creating lasting change for generations to come.
