For nearly four decades, LACASA Center has served as Livingston County’s advocacy agency for victims and survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault.

Our comprehensive organization provides wrap-around services for abuse victims and their families. We also spearhead community-wide awareness and prevention initiatives. LACASA is an independent, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Howell, Michigan.

Senior Major Gifts Officer

The Senior Major Gifts Officer (MGO) is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors to secure significant financial support to LACASA for operations, capital campaign/improvements, endowments and planned gifts.

Adult Counselor

The Adult Counselor is a professional human service position that provides client-centered individual, group and or family therapy and counseling services to victims and survivors of sexual and domestic violence.

Shelter Advocate

November 18th, 2024|

The Shelter Advocate is a professional human service position that facilitates day-to-day communal living among shelter residents through the provision of crisis intervention, emotional support, information, referrals and advocacy.

Children’s Counselor

November 18th, 2024|

The Children’s Counselor is a professional human service position that provides client centered therapeutic services, support, advocacy, and intervention to clients who have been impacted by child abuse, sexual violence, and domestic violence.

Youth Prevention Educator – Full Time

February 28th, 2024|

The Youth Prevention Educator is responsible for prevention efforts targeted at the youth population in Livingston County related to child abuse, domestic violence and sexual violence.

On-Call Volunteers Needed

Our On-Call Response Team is seeking dedicated individuals who have a desire to work directly with victims and survivors to provide immediate support, resources and next steps following an assault.

Volunteer for LACASA Collection

We have a variety of opportunities for you to work on the floor or behind the scenes. Scheduling is flexible. You can choose morning, afternoon or evening shifts on weekdays or weekends.
