May 20 – 27, 2019 ~ Bring in your retired, gently-worn clothing to J. Jill at Green Oak Village Place, Brighton, and you will receive 30% off one full-priced item. The gently-worn clothing is donated to LACASA Center for abuse victims. This program is sponsored by the J. Jill Compassion Fund.
November 12th ~ Grab a friend and welcome the holiday season in style at this annual, fun-filled event! Proceeds from this festive evening benefit LACASA and help victims of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault in our community.
LACASA’s Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Council recently announced the recipient of the 2019 Champion for Children Award. Gavin Johnson was named the winner in appreciation for the encouragement, support and guidance he provides for the students and families at Brighton High School and in Livingston County.
Our comprehensive organization provides wrap-around services for abuse victims and their families. We also spearhead community-wide awareness and prevention initiatives. If you are passionate about our mission, we invite you to explore our career openings and volunteer opportunities.
Early June ~ Come out for free family fun at the CAP Kids’ Fair. Our Child Abuse Prevention Council hosts a free awareness and activity tent all weekend for children and parents during the Pinckney Art Fair.
April 2020 ~ We invite workplaces to encourage employees to make a small donation in return for wearing jeans to work. Donate the proceeds to help sexual assault victims.
LACASA Center helps hundreds of victims and survivors each year and we always are in need of basic necessities, food supplies, paper goods and cleaning products.
