Spring Training Program Starts April 20, 2020 ~ This training is for individuals who want to become direct service volunteers are required to complete this comprehensive training program, as are all new LACASA staff members & interns.
Classes beginning March 4th ~ Fathers, step-fathers and male role models meet for 8-weeks to discuss parenting challenges and ways to form positive family bonds.
Classes beginning February 25th ~ This 8-week, award-winning program teaches parents about empathy, appropriate expectations, and positive discipline.
November 11 – December 21 ~ We invite you to be part of our “Starry Night” Holiday Toy Drive at the LACASA Collection, our unique resale boutique in Howell. Your donation will bring holiday cheer to a child in need at LACASA Center.
Registration is open for our Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer Training Program, which begins October 3, 2019.
June 2020 ~ Join us for a summer evening with local wordsmiths and storytellers as they weave tales that entertain and inspire. This is a fundraising event for LACASA Center hosted by Maria Stuart, editor of The Livingston Post, and Mona Shand, journalist and communications consultant.
June 2020 ~ Mix & mingle with pro-athletes at our annual “Drive Out Child Abuse” Celebrity Golf Outing.
May 20 – 27, 2019 ~ Bring in your retired, gently-worn clothing to J. Jill at Green Oak Village Place, Brighton, and you will receive 30% off one full-priced item. The gently-worn clothing is donated to LACASA Center for abuse victims. This program is sponsored by the J. Jill Compassion Fund.
