Thursday, June 20 ~ Join us for a summer evening with local wordsmiths and storytellers as they weave tales that entertain and inspire. This is a fundraising event for LACASA Center hosted by Maria Stuart, editor of The Livingston Post, and Mona Shand, journalist and communications consultant.
Early November ~ Grab a friend and welcome the holiday season in style at this annual, fun-filled event! Proceeds from this festive evening benefit LACASA and help victims of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault in our community.
LACASA Center is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant. The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing general office support by implementing an administrative system of procedures and policies, preparing reports, maintaining appropriate filing systems, and monitoring administrative projects.
May 22 ~ The focus of this workshop is to gain an understanding of common responses to sexual assault and learn about steps that can be taken towards healing.
LACASA’s Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Council recently announced the recipient of the 2019 Champion for Children Award. April 24, 2019 ~ We invite workplaces to encourage employees to make a small donation in return for wearing jeans to work. Donate the proceeds to help sexual assault victims.
