LACASA’s Healthy Families Livingston Awarded National Accreditation ~ The goal of HFL is to provide high-quality home visiting services for families who want to improve their child’s health, nutrition and developmental outcomes.
The 2023 Champion for Children award recipients were announced during LACASA’s Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Council’s “Plant a Pinwheel Celebration” at the Howell Carnegie Library on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
April 4 – 19 ~ LACASA Center and Cleary University have partnered to present the Clothesline Project, which will feature two events this month in recognition of National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

May 20th ~ Join Us for an International Musical Experience! Detroit Indian Women’s Association joins hands with Shanti World Music to present a rare musical experience to benefit abuse victims and survivors at LACASA Center.
LACASA Center’s CAP (Child Abuse Prevention) Council and the Great Start Collaborative are asking Livingston County residents to consider who is a Champion for Children in our community. We are accepting nominations for the Champion for Children award through March 20.
The 2023 grant contribution will directly benefit local domestic violence victims and survivors who are living in LACASA’s Crisis Shelter or Transitional Supportive Housing units.
