Explore our Wish List

LACASA Center helps hundreds of victims and survivors each year and we always are in need of basic necessities, food supplies, paper goods and cleaning products.

Our Wish List (see below) provides specifics about our needs. There are certain items that are especially in demand, including:

Client Gift Cards

One big area of need is for gift cards. Many of our clients have transportation issues, and these cards help cover automotive expenses including gasoline, oil changes, tune-ups and car repairs. Gift cards also are used for food and personal care items at supermarkets and drug stores.

Crisis Shelter

Our Crisis Shelter provides housing and meals for hundreds of adults and children each year who would be homeless without your support. The shelter always is in need of food supplies, new clothing, new single-size bedding sets, personal grooming products, and laundry detergent. (Due to health and safety regulations, all donated items must be new.)

Children’s Programs

The Children’s Counseling Center regularly needs a variety of single-serving snack packs, drink boxes, arts & craft supplies, and new toys for infants, toddlers and children of all ages.

We can’t accept some items

Due to health and safety regulations, the shelter is prohibited from accepting any used items. If you want to donate new, nearly new or gently-used clothing, children’s toys, household items, or furnishings, please bring donations to the LACASA Collection, our upscale resale store. This is the place where our clients are empowered to shop with dignity for the things they need at no charge.
