Each year during the LACASA Gala, we proudly recognize three outstanding award winners that exemplify our mission. Individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the county are recognized with one of three awards:
- Phoenix Rising Award: This award celebrates a remarkable rising leader who has demonstrated outstanding advocacy, empathy, and leadership in the community on behalf of LACASA’s mission. The Phoenix Rising Award recognizes their courage and passion for being a voice of hope for those who need it most, and a torch bearer lighting the way to a better future for the next generation.
- Wings of Service Award: This award recognizes an individual, group, or organization that has shown exceptional dedication and commitment to LACASA. The Wings of Service Award honors and uplifts their selfless contributions, compassion, and tireless efforts in making a positive impact on the lives of those LACASA serves and the ability of our agency to carry out our mission.
- Spirit of LACASA Award: This award gratefully acknowledges a partner company, business, or organization that has gone above and beyond in support of LACASA and our mission. The Spirit of LACASA Award recognizes their financial contributions, in-kind donations, employee engagement, and long-term commitment to creating a safer and more supportive community for victims of interpersonal violence.
